I’M NERVOUS - NOT SURE IF I AM READY FOR THIS. ANY ADVICE?

Girl, you are not alone! This is an exciting opportunity, but it does require you to be a bit vulnerable. That can make anyone get a few butterflies. Anytime you do something new it can make you a little nervous but believe me, it is 100% worth it.

I find that when we have the chance to sit, talk, and explore what makes you nervous, you get the answers you need to overcome that anxiousness.

I promise not to pressure you into anything you aren’t ready for— but I will support you in stepping up to what you really want.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR - DO YOU HAVE A WARDROBE FOR ME? OR DO I BRING MY OWN?

Yes and yes! I have a studio wardrobe that you are welcome to use, either as your primary pieces, or as an augmentation to your own items. The most important issue is making sure you feel good and confident in whatever you wear. When we meet to plan out your session we will talk about what look you want and how to support that vision in your wardrobe choices.

WHAT WILL OR WILL YOU NOT PHOTOGRAPH?

Boundaries are so important. So, I’ve given this a lot of thought. I will shoot a variety of clothed, partially clothed, implied nudity and fine art nudes. This can include, but does not have to include exposed breasts and bums. However, no pelvic area will be visible in any of my work and that is a firm policy. While I can appreciate more erotic art, it is not my specialty and I do not offer images in that genre.

WHEN AND HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE THE IMAGES WE MAKE TOGETHER?

Before you leave your photography session, we will set a date between two and three weeks later for you to come back and see the finished images. At that time you will select which images you want in your social media sized gallery, and which images you want to have printed.

All books and albums will be shown to you through a proof before they are ordered from the printer, to be certain we are in agreement on what you will receive. After that it is usually a short week before the items arrive at my studio and we arrange to get together so you can have them in your hands.

WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY SESSION?

I understand that life happens and there can be a need to reschedule a session. We can do that when necessary, but the payment schedule that was in place for the original date will remain in effect. If an out and out cancelation is required, deposits are not refundable.

DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR AND MAKEUP SERVICES WITH MY SESSION?

All in-studio packages come with hair and makeup services. Sessions on location, such as the Strong Confident Femininity Adventure Boudoir Experience come with the option to add hair and makeup services. This is an opportunity to treat yourself to the best experience and allow a professional to help you achieve the look that will have you feeling both confident and stunningly beautiful.

I carefully select hair and makeup artists who know how to implement the style of your preference in the manner that is the most flattering for your facial structure. You will collaborate with these amazing professionals in a fun, creative environment.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO MY SESSION?

The short answer is yes, but it comes with a couple of caveats. First, I strongly encourage you limit it to one companion - the studio is a compact space that needs to remain open for our movement. Second, I do not allow men to come to the session - what we do together is beautiful and comes from the heart of women (the two of us working together). It is not a process that is open to the presence of a male observer. Third, if you choose to bring someone, please be sure it is someone who is positive and supportive in their attitude and words. And someone who does not need to be the center of attention. The last thing you need when exploring your strong confident femininity is a harsh voice trying to make corrections or to direct things to their vision. I am the only one who can see what the camera will capture, and a third person’s angle can be incredibly different than the image we are making, so their feedback would be less than productive. Your friend/support person can be there to tell you how beautiful you are, but if you think they would add something more than that, it is probably best to let them wait to see the images when we are all done.

RETOUCHING - HOW MUCH “PHOTOSHOPPING” WILL YOU DO ON MY IMAGES?

Such a great question! My general policy is if it will still be with you in three weeks I am not going to do anything with it. This allows me to take care of acne breakouts, but means I will not take away the battle scars of life that you have earned. For things like stretch marks and uneven skin tones, I do have standard lighting, posing and processing techinques to minimize these things in a subtle but effective way. If you would prefer that I do take care of scars, we can talk about that and add some extensive retouching to your package. But my philosophy is to allow you to see the beauty of you just the way you are!

I’M NOT SURE WHAT PRINTS OR ALBUMS I WANT TO ORDER. CAN I WAIT UNTIL I SEE MY IMAGES TO DECIDE?

Yes! All my packages come with an album of some sort, but you are welcome to exchange that album for a print credit and use it towards wall art, a box of prints or an upgraded album. All options are on the table for you!

HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT TO SPEND FOR A STRONG CONFIDENT FEMININITY BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE?

Entery level package starts at $1450, and include hair and makeup, access to the studio wardrobe, 1.5 hours of photography time, and a 10 image heirloom album. Many clients elect to upgrade their album, or add in wall art images. On the whole, the average client spends between $1700 and $2000.

You may use the voucher program to earn print credits by referring your friends. Additionally, payment plans are available for those who find that helpful..

I DON’T HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO POSE IN A BEAUTIFUL WAY. CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THAT?

I've got you! The posing is all on me - I’ve been studying posing for years, and know how work with all body types - tall, short, slender, curvy! I will talk you through it all and even get on the floor to show you what is needed to make the pose work for you. Come ready to follow instructions, and let me take care of the rest.

WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?

I work out of my studio, which is located in my Gallatin Gateway home. These are dedicated photography studio rooms that offers both natural and augmented light options and affords you privacy in a comfortable environment.

On location sessions are also available if you have a particular place you want to utilize.

You can also elect to do an outdoor session when seasonally appropriate. These sessions can be in the mountains for a Strong Confident Feminininty Adventure Boudoir Experience, or at a private property you have pre-arranged. We can also brainstorm to find the perfect spot that reflects your personal style! There are several special locations I know that allow for some amazing views and adventure opportunities.

WHAT GROOMING THINGS DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR MY SESSION?

When you book your session you will receive a guide for your preparations. It will include information about timing of waxing, shaving, tanning, etc. It will also have information about how to eat and drink to promote healthy skin and reduce bloating and allow you to come with your best glow possible. And, of course, I am always available to address specific questions you have about how best to prepare for your session.

DO I HAVE TO ALLOW YOU TO USE MY IMAGES ON THE INTERNET OR IN YOUR PORTFOLIO?

No, you do not. I pledge not to use photos in a public manner without your permission. However, I encourage you to wait until the viewing of your finished product before you make up your mind on this issue. I know that your session will be a work of art that you are proud of and you may come to the conclusion that sharing your experience is a great way to promote Strong Confident Femininity among your community of women.

WHEN ARE APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE?

My studio is open for appointments Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Your session takes about 3-4 hours, including in-studio hair.

For Strong Confident Femininity Adventure Boudoir sessions, appointments are scheduled to begin 4 hours before Sunset, 5 hours if you do hair and makeup at the studio before hand.

If you need special arrangements outside of these times, we can discuss how to make that happen for you.

Appointments are usually a minimum of 3 weeks out, but can be further out, depending on schedule. In most cases we can have your tangible images in your hand within 2 weeks of your ordering session, if you are able to dedicate the time into reviewing proofs efficiently. So, if you want the images in hand for a particular purpose, I recommend making your appointment at least 6 weeks prior to your deadline. In some cases, an expedited schedule can be arranged, but an additional fee is applicable.
